WhatsApp video buffering

The latest version of WhatsApp has came with a drastic change - 

Now You can see a video before it downloads!!!

In the early versions, you had to download a video before you can see it by clicking on download button (or by automatic download) but now however, instead of a download button, you see a play button. When you tap the button, the video will start buffering, and you will be able to watch the video while it is being downloaded on your phone. The buffering feature is similar to what you see when watching videos online on YouTube or other sites like that.
